Once Sousei East Area was full of government-owned factories and was the site of manufacturing that supported the development of Sapporo.
It’s recognized as one of the attractive district in Sapporo city in recent years, and many apartments have been built within the past few years. Unique restaurants, bars and cafes are made one after another around the Nijo Fish Market.
This walking tour mainly takes the important river for the frontier history of Sapporo, Sousei River, the waterside urban promenade with art and nature, Sousei River Park and Nijo fish Market. Please enjoy the experience that you cannot have in ordinary tours.
