In this lesson, you will learn about and experience doing calligraphy, a part of Japanese traditional culture.
After trying the experience, you can take home your personal work of art(your name or a word that you wanted to write), printed on a "unique calligraphy T-shirt" as a souvenir.
We will also serve Kaminari-okoshi, a Japanese traditional confectionery, and Japanese tea.
【Our class is 9 minuets walk from Sugamo station】
We are going to pick you up at Sugamo Post office.

【A】It’s about 10 minuets walk from front exit of Sugamo station on JR Yamanote Line.
①When you go out front exit, cross the
crosswalk and then turn right.
②Go straight along side street.
Walk to the point where the sidewalk roof disappears. Then you can see entrance of “Sugamo jizo-dori shopping street(Japanese:巣鴨地蔵通商店街)“
③Enter the shopping street and go straight until you see Sugamo Post office of orange sign on the right side.
【B】It’s about 8 minuets walk from exit A3 of Sugamo station on Mita Line(Subway).
①When you go out A3 exit, Keep Going straight along side street.

②Enter the shopping street and go straight until you see Sugamo Post office of orange sign on the right side.
