To start we'll visit over 800 yers old Suwa shrine to pray for safety walk of the day. We’ll learn history of this shrine and basic manner of how to worship Japanese shrine.
Secondly we will be visiting Fujimi slope to learn about how Edo city has been built and why. A story about Mt fuji and how we used to think about it. The story connects with shrines. We will learn about the histories of the story behind about Fujimi slope.
The area's called “Yanesen”. 3 women who lives this area and used to publish a magazine called “Yanesen” established about 30 years ago. The word is originally come from name of the magazine. Their work really contributed this area to be famous. As they're fiends, I officially have a permission to use a word of “Yanesen”. We will be experiencing wonderful yanesen area by walking through town too see how everyday life to go ing through here.
Next we will be walking towards to very old Himalayan cedar. This tree is one of a symbol of our town. We will also see a temple in this area to know difference between temple and shrine.
Then walk towards to a my friend's traditional Japanese Miso shop . Miso is a fermented with yeast fungus. It contains may vitamins and minerals. We'll taste a miso soup.
At last we'll go to a local supermarket. We will see the things that you are interested in. I will explain what they are in English.
