Koedo, meaning 'Little Edo' in japanese, is located in the city of Kawagoe, Saitama. If you happen to travel by train, it will take you around 50min from the Shinjuku station to Kawagoe. Like the name suggests, Koedo is a very famous site for its old historic buildings, shrines, and unique shops that offer a taste of Edo. Renting a kimono and taking a stroll in the street of Koedo will make you feel like you have travelled back to the Edo period. Since there are so many photogenic spots, you will be able to take lots of awesome pictures! Upload them on instagram and make your friends jealous !

In the kimono rental place, although there will be shelves, there will not be lockers to keep your clothes and valuables safe. So, either you will have to carry your stuffs with you for the whole tour or not wear or bring expensive stuffs to leave it on the shelves. It will be your responsibility.
